Our Story
Founders Erik & Shannon Fowler are the team behind Good Pressure Brewing Co. — two San Diegans with East County roots and a long-held vision of opening a brewery in the community that shaped them.
With 15 years of experience in the craft beer industry and Certified Cicerone® credentials, Erik brings deep expertise in beer education, hospitality, and operations from his work with the San Diego Brewers Guild, White Labs, Stone Brewing, and others. Shannon pairs this with nearly 15 years in marketing, communications, branding, and guest experience across the museum and conservation fields, guiding the brewery’s storytelling and creative direction.
Together, they’re committed to shaping a welcoming, customer-driven brewery and taproom that reflects their values of community, creativity, and quality.
